Mostly spent sleeping on ferry as nothing much else to do! Arrived an hour late at Santander so needed to make up some time to get to our 1st hotel before dark. We woke to the sound of cow bells and I opened the window shutters to glimpse of a sea view and cows in the fields below. After a beautiful breakfast in amazing surroundings, we set off for Navia on the north coast of Spain. Woke up to rain . Went to the gym to kill some time and then had breakfast. The rain had eased off so we decided to head off 11.45 and take the motorway E70 that goes through the mountains towards the west coast. We had a good breakfast and loaded the bike for the trip to Vigo. We set off at 9.45 and the weather was nice and sun was coming up. We headed west through towns and villages one in particular that stood out was Cuntis, made us chuckle. There was a bit of traffic and we was doing about 50 to 60 mph. This morning was going to be our first group ride and we were heading back down to the Algarve via the N2 and hopefully some great riding and weather.
