Week 1 Cruise summary

Good morning all from hot and sunny Miami we are getting ready to meet Brandon and JJ at the cruise port this morning to start our cruise on MSC Seascape, the guys are on the Brighline train as I type on there way to the terminal. We plan on meeting at 12pm and we hope, that as we are in Yacht club, we will get on quickly. The 4 nights here in Hallandale has been great allthough I think we picked up a cold on the way over and are just about kicking the arse out of it, so we hope today is the start of a fresh and healthy cruise. We are now completely on the time zone and ready to party. We have a car booked for 11.15am that will take us directly to the terminal where we hope the guys will either be there or turn up soon after. We got to the terminal a bit before 12pm and the guys rocked up soon after, we checked in quickly with Yacht club and was taken straight to our rooms, we dropped off our hand luggage and we showed the guys around Yacht club and then the rest of the ship, the guys were very impressed with the ship apart from Brandon mentioning the brown carpets. We had a few drinks and stuck around until just before sail away when we went back to our rooms to unpack. We met back up in the bar just as we set sail. The weather was perfect and the seas calm. We then went back to shower for dinner, which was great we also met Maricio who we recognised from a sailing before and he was now the main man in charge so we had a laugh with him and even had him track down a specific bottle of Pinot Noir we liked. We all were a bit tired so we called it early and went to bed. A great first day and very happy to be onboard this amazing ship. OK the following days will be summarised here as we were so busy and the Internet is not great. But we all had a great week together highlights include 2 good specialty restaurants and we even got a special indian meal prepared for us all. Brandon celebrated his birthday onboard and we all had a good time in the casino. Sorry about the lack of details i will post the images on this page for the week. Our next week should be more detailed.
