Day 10 (At Sea) Last full day.
So day 10 is our last full day and we are at sea heading back to Fort Lauderdale, we were lucky with the weather as we had heard it was very cold in Florida but the sun was out and we found ourselves some nice sun loungers up on deck 18. Like yesterday not much to report only a day of sun bathing following by our last meal. The plan was to go to the Grill but later in the afternoon the ship started to move around a bit and poor Paul felt a bit sea sick and had to lye down Lorna as felt a bit rough so we decided it was not worth the expense of going to the Grill. Some of us went back to thew rooms for a lye down and some of us just sat it out in the bar, eventually after some ginger ale and the ships course moving into calmer seas it all settled down and we were all feeling a lot better, so we decided to all go to our allocated dinning room tonight to say goodbye to the team that have looked after us for the last 10 days. We did have a few drinks in Bellini´s first and then eventually walked down to Amalifi, the meal was great and we all felt a lot better with something solid inside especially Rory who ordered 2 Surf and Turfs and promptly left half. After dinner we were going to go to the Princess Live as we bumped in to Jayson earlier but decided enough was enough and swerved him and went up to Bellini´s to say goodbye to Jenny and Faral as they have looked after us during the cruise. It was just a goodbye no drinks and we all then went back to the state rooms to go to bed for the last time onboard. Tomorrow we go our own way as me and Lorna pick uo a hire car and drive to davenport where we have a villa rented until our next cruise. The others have a flight in the afternoon but have a excursion booked from the ship to the Everglades and then onto Miami for there evening flight, so we agreed to meet up at 7:30 in tne morning for a last breakfast. It has been a great 10 days with fantastic company and for all of us our first experience with Princess Cruises. I am sure we will be back but for now thanks for following us on this long awaited trip.
