Day 2
Hi folks well today is our first real full day in Canada and its our last day in Montreal, so what better way to see the city, than with a traditional London double decker open top bus.
What a pile of crap that turned out to be. Sure it took us to all the places you might want to see, but you could not get off, because you would never get back on again, despite being a hop on, hop off style trip, if you didn’t get on at the start of the trip you didn’t stand a chance getting on the bus at any of the 7 stops because it was full from the start, so we stayed on the bus and had Dominic our bus driver threw us all over the place. To be honest on 2 occasions I really thought I was going to chuck my breakfast up, which by the way was great. Never mind we did get to see few neat places but sorry no video, I didn’t want to risk having my camera thrown overboard thanks to Dominic’s skilful driving, beside I think anyone watching would probably want to throw up as well, (well shaky) so we have a few photos. It was really hot today about 29 C and quite humid but “hey” we are used to that by now.
Not sure what we are doing tonight we did stop at a Jazz bar for a nice and well deserved beer so we might pop in there again later as they have live music every night and the food looked quite nice, will keep you posted.
We did come across a cool concept for public transport, there are public pushbikes all over the city and you just hop on and use them for a small fee and then when your done drop them off again at stations all over the city.
