Day 25

Well we packed up again this morning and loaded up the car and headed for Whistler, this was going to be a bout a 4 hour drive today so not too bad. We did get a bit lost at the start of the journey when the satnav threw a wobbly that added about 50km to the trip.
The drive today was lovely all through mountains which took us up and down some really steep roads, there was a few vehicles having braking issues and one RV had crashed into another car probably threw fading brakes, for about 15 minutes all we could smell was brakes. We stopped off at a small town for lunch and then took in some scenery stops on the way, there were load of motorcycles on the road today and I really wished I was on my Harley with them the roads were just perfect for bikes.
We got into Whistler at about 4 ish and started looking for hotels, we settled for the Hilton which as it turns out was perfectly placed. Whistler is a pedestrianised village the hotel was right in the middle of it all so we don’t need the car at all. After we settled in we just went straight back out again and found a bar and watched the world go by, it was great people watching in this very cool place. We might stay here a few days we are not sure but I think definitely at least another night. The weather has been a bit mixed today but we are hoping it will improve a little. We had a nice meal in “The Keg” restaurant and had a very good nights sleep something we have been missing over the last few days.
We are going to book the Zipline adventure tomorrow probably for Monday and maybe go out on some ATV’s tomorrow for a few hours, so some good video footage there we hope, providing its doesn’t rain.
