Day 5 (At Sea)

Its another day at sea today but we didn’t mind it gave us a chance to top up the tans and take it easy, we gained a hour today also so another hour in bed which was an amazing nights sleep thanks to the room change we now have a quiet room with no disruptions at all. So not a huge amount to talk about today so far apart from breakfast in the Yacht club restaurant and then onto the pool deck, where we met up with Komang our bartender from yesterday, he was ready for some more cocktail challenges and while we were sat at the bar drinking his own concoction called  “Move like Jäger” he had us shut our eyes and told us he made something for me last night and presented a motorcycle made of corks, it was amazing as he didn’t know I owned a motorcycle least of all a V Twin Harley which is what he modelled the bike on. We thought it was a really nice touch and we will try our best to keep it intact and get it home. Now today was a blistering hot one so most of the time was dipping in and out of the pool to cool down and propping up the bar, but we eventually got some rays and lasted until 4pm when we went back to our room to get ready for tonights meal, We are having our second speciality meal tonight in the “Butchers Cut” so as usual we were escorted down by our,  butler. And we got seated and ordered drinks. We couldn’t get our fav red wine as it seems they don’t serve it here but we got a good alternative our meal was really nice until the kitchens extractor fan stopped working and the whole place filled wil smoke, it was funny and the staff moved us to a different section which was fine until 10 French people came in at 9:30pm with God knows how many kids. The youngest was smashing a knife against the table and they didn’t give a shit eventually the little brat dropped the knife and it was quiet again. Thankfully we were nearly finished apart from our shared lava cake. We finished that and then we decided to go to the uptown bar as they had a trivia quiz. There was a really loud English group there with one lady with a really piercing annoying voice but we persevered. There were around 6 teams and can you believe it we won 8 out if ten. It was a easy victory so we went to bed early as we have a full day off ship tomorrow.
