Dec 15th. Day 6 Wichita Falls

This morning was not such a great start to the day we were both very tired because last night at around midnight we had to change rooms, the hotel was a stones throw form the interstate and the noise was so bad, so we moved to a slightly better room and tried to sleep. We packed our cases into the SUV and set our first port of call to Nordstrom Rack so Lorna could get a jacket, temps were dropping but today the sun was shining and we were now making our way to the set of “Dallas” and the South Fork ranch. We had been here before on our very first day of the first road trip we took in 2005 and wanted to see what had changed if anything. The tour was quiet and only about 10 of us were on the tour, we held back and got the rooms to ourselves to gets some decent pictures. When we finished we got back into our car and aimed for Colorado Springs this was too far but we would stop en-route somewhere and that turned out to be Wichita Falls, we drove around for a bit to try and find a quiet hotel but the town was bigger than we expected but settled in a Hampton Inn & Suites which was walking distance to a Chili’s which we fancied tonight as we had not ate all day. 
Chilis was OK and I was back in the room by 7pm but Lorna wanted to look around the shops that were next to the hotel so I came back to update the blog and videos. By the way this picture is of Lorna from 2005 and Today side by side.
