Day 7 St Lucia

Firstly sorry about lack of photos the internet onboard is not great and I am finding it hard to successfully upload the images I will keep trying and it may take a few days to update all the daily entries as I need to get all photos for all of the gang.

Good Day from St Lucia, we arrived at 8am this morning and we had all been up early with room service and visits to the dinning room for a fill up of breakfast for todays adventures, yes today we had a excursion booked with Princess as this is yet another restricted Island to go to the Treetop Adventure Park and a day of zip lining.
There were 24 of us doing this today which did not surprise us as there are a lot of elderly and well the only thing I can say is weight restricted people onboard so it was a great group, and the little bus we had was driven by Rufus and our tour lady was called and wished to be referred to as “Sunshine” She was a lively lady who kept us all entertained during the trip to the venue which took about 45 minutes, she had us all introduce ourselves and the people before us, so thankfully as were sat at the front it was easy for us to do, but we felt sorry for some of the people at the rear of the bus, but then Sunshine rolled of all our names perfectly and quickly which was very impressive, she then retained this info throughout the tour so a lot of us were on first name basis well for those of us that could remember. We arrived at the venue which is right in the middle of the rain forest and although it was raining a bit it did not make any difference to any of us, our group kind of got equipped first and we were the first 6 out which was great, we hading one of our phones over to one of the tour guides who was great and took videos and photos of us all throughout the 12 zip lines. It was really great, it was a little hard going in places especially the bridges as they were made of ropes and boards and were very wobbly. I think everyone on the bus had a great day and we finished off the trip back ion the port for about 1:45, we were going to go straight up for something to eat but we were all covered in mud stains and were in a bad way so we showered changed and met up after we all went our own ways for a late lunch in Bellini´s. A few cocktails later and it was time to get ready for tonights meal, we have chosen to eat in one of the speciality restaurants tonight in the French restaurant so we are looking forward to that for 8pm more to follow
