Day 8 Ibiza
So today we woke up in Ibiza we were not meant to arrive until 10am but we got in a little early today, and as we slept with the door slightly open we were awoken by loads of shouting and clapping, it turned out to be about 20 staff members greeting guests to Ibiza as they got off it went on for over a hour. We have a long stop over today and depart after 10pm tonight. The weather unfortunately is not great and is looking like it might rain, so after breakfast we arranged to meet at the concierge desk and h3ad out to the old town we noticed that there was a very large queue fir the shuttle buses that take us out of the port so we asked for a butler to escort us off the ship, one came along and we were ushered off the ship and right to the front if the queue and straight onto a bus, well if looks could kill we would all be pushing up the daisy’s. It took around 15 mins to get to the drop off point and we then walk up towards the church perched high up on the hill top, it was heavy going because we had all brought emergency clothing in case it rains and it was really humid. We got up as far as we felt nessasary and decided it was beer o’clock so we started our decent looking out for a suitable watering hole that could accommodate the 9 of us. We ended up almost at the start in a square and plonked ourselves down and had a few rounds and some tapas. The rain had held off so with nothing else to see we headed back tobthe bus stop fortunately there was nobody there so we git straight onto the bus and back to the ship. We went straight up to deck 20 fir a few drinks and then went back to our rooms to get ready for tonights last speciality meal in Butchers Cut.
We met in the Yacht club bar for a drink before being escorted to the restaurant we had the large table thst coukd seat 12 for ourselves and had a really nice meal, there was a few meals being swapped around as the temperatures were all over the place but mist if us ended up with what they wanted as per usual Warren went fir a huge steak and got the 24ounce t bone steak which ge said was nice, we were all very full by the time we finished and the pre ordered deserts were mostly left. The ship had just started to leave when we left the restaurant so wevwalked outside and watch Ibiza drift into the distance. As we were all very full we called it a early night and apart from Lirna and Tracy. We were tucked up in.bed before 11pm
