Cruise Day 2 At Sea

Good morning form the Jewel Of The Seas, we all had a late night last night and a very easy day today so not a lot to report. But we all ventured out on deck at various times but by about mid day we were all sat down in the sun on deck in front of the climbing wall, we all just wanted to chill out today well that was until Kelly decided that she was going to go on the climbing wall, and those of you that know the Bishops would mean that Warren would also go on there after. The only thing you needed was a pair of sock and as I was the only one with some trainer socks they quickly became the team socks for the wall. Kelly geared up and hit the wall, she started with the easiest one and got right up to the bell in no time, then she tackled the 2nd hardest of the three and rang that bell only slightly slower. Warren then geared up and you have probably guessed it went for the hardest run first, he made it up and rang the bell much to Kelly disgust, then Rob decided to give it a go and blasted up the hardest run also ringing the bell even faster. With all this excitement we all needed another round of drinks and settled down for a while before having lunch in the Windjammer. The rest of the day was spent sun bathing but it was getting as bit windy so we move closer to the main pool and had a few drinks. We were all feeling a little warm as the wind was so strong today it was hard to know how much sun we all got. Later we met up for our evening meal tonight which would be in the speciality restaurant Izumi.
We had a few pre drinks in the Schooner Bar and then walked up to the 12th floor and Izumi, well this trip so far we have not had the best reputation for finding things quickly and easily and it was no surprise it took ages before we even found the restaurant. We even had to get the Windjammer restaurant doors opened to get up to the correct floor. Anyway Izumi was really nice, we all had a great meal and had no problems getting our Castle Rock red wine. After this Rob and Paula went back to the room because Paul had not been feeling well all night probably down to too much sun. The rest of us went back up to Vortex club and after a while 2 The Dickens retired and then there was 4. As mentioned before the bar revolves around the central bar and Warren saw this as a great opportunity to do his famous splits only in slow motion, the club was full and the resulting splits got a huge response. Now fuelled with admiration Warren was not going anywhere so the 4 of us ended up polishing off at leats another 4 rounds before leaving for bed, via a quick pizza in the Solarium’s snack bar. So another late night.
