Cruise Day 3 Crete, Chania

Today we arrive in Crete but not until around 12 midday, so we all agreed to meet in the main restaurant for breakfast, last night was a time change so we all had to adjust our clocks forward one hour, for some reason not everyones phones switched over to the new time so some of us were a bit late getting ready we eventually sat down together and ordered breakfast at about 10:30am. After breakfast as we were all dressed for the day and ready to go we went up to the pool deck and got our towels and then went into the Schooner bar for a few drinks, we didn’t want to get off as soon as we could,  so we allowed some time for the queues to go down for the taxis. We probably got off at around 1pm and got straight into 2 taxis and headed to a beach that was about 30 minutes away in (town to come later). We all met up and decided on a beach. It was really nice and we settled in front of a nice looking restaurant. We were going to stay until 5pm. Some of us ventured into the sea to cool down and  then we all settled down for some sun bathing and drinks. Lunch was really nice and cheap, in fact the whole meal including drinks for 8 was around 100 Euros. While having lunch a guy rode by on a motorcycle and sidecar with a dog in the sidecar it was a good photo opportunity and he obliged us with a wave. After lunch we got some more sun bathing and in no time the taxis were back again taking us back to the ship. We went straight up to the pool deck and got into the hot tubs with drinks and reflected on the day. The ship was still very quiet because we were not leaving Crete until 9pm tonight. Eventually we all headed back to our rooms to get ready for tonight, we tried to get into Tides early as some of us wanted to see a show later but it was closed until 8:30, we had another great meal and no issues with our wine now,  then me and Rob said goodbye the the rest as they headed off to the theatre. Apparently the show was not that great when we all met up again in the Schooner bar where me and Rob had been while they were in the show.
It wasn’t going to be a seriously late one tonight but a few of us still ended up in the night club, but it was empty so we all went after a few drinks.
