Day 2 Barcelona set sail

Good morning from Barcelona we all woke up too late for breakfast as it serves until 9.30am so we ordered room service and arranged to meet up somewhere around La Ramblas. Brandon and JJ had already headed into town to see the sights and Lorna and me headed in a bit later we walked all the way up La Ramblas and back down again and stopped for a drink I ordered a beer and Lorna ordered a sangria well out came 2 1 litre jugs each. We texted the guys to meet us and a then a couple of ladies sat down and ordered margaritas also 1 litre each we chatted with them and discovered they were mother and daughter where the daughter was treating her mum to a 50th birthday getaway. The guys turned up and joined us. Then an American couple just plonked down next to us and proclaimed he was going to talk with us. He was a bit annoying so me and Lorna left the guys to talk with them while we carried on with the girls.

We finished up and decided we were hungry and would go back to the place we ate pizza yesterday as they were so good, this time we sat inside as it was a little cooler. Another amazing pizza and we were on our way back to the ship. Once onboard we headed to the bar and had a few more drinks and afternoon tea, there was going to be a welcome party at 7pm so a little before we went back to our rooms to clean.up. The guys made it in time but me and Lorna kinda rocked up at the end so missed it all. We waited until 8pm for the sail away and then into the dining room for diner. We saw Simon who told us about a trivia quiz so we finished up our evening meal which was great and rushed to the 7th floor bar just in time to answer the 25 trivia questions we did really well and tied 2nd so there was a sudden death decider which unfortunately we got wrong so we came second. We stayed fir a few more drinks and headed off to bed slightly trashed again. We were now on the move towards Palomas and the crossing was a little rough being a small ship doesn’t help but we all passed out asleep and didn’t really notice it.
