Day 5 At Sea

Good morning peeps, well today is a “At Sea Day” so therefore very relaxed and all taking things easily, so with a late awakening we met up on deck for breakfast at around 10:00am ish for a light breakfast, and then a relaxing time by the pool waiting for the next meal LOL. We stuck it out until later in the afternoon, and when I say we stuck it out it was by n o means a chore we just didn’t want to get too drunk because Karisma was going to present his cocktail drinks fest this afternoon so we took it easy and had a slight lunch and then took it easy pool side until Karisma came back on shift, he looked so happy that we were up for his little drinks experiment, of course if he really knew us he would know it was not a problem at all.

Well he started off with a easy swimming pool cocktail which was a nice intro to what became a heavy sesh, we are out tonight on a formal night so we were all a bit concerned we were going to turn up bolloxed so we shared each drink 4 ways, it was a really great afternoon and Karisma was absolutely brilliant. We went back to the room to get dressed ready for our formal night tonight. So after a nice shower we were all togged up ready for our special night in the Yacht club restaurant, but first we went our bar for a few pre dinner drinks. We eventually went up to the restaurant and was seated on a huge 10 seat circular table in the corner, now we are not sure if they were tucking us away or if this was special treatment, we assumed the latter as we were having our very own custom made meal tonight. Earlier in the week we had mentioned to one of the butlers who is Indian we love spicy Indian meals so she went to the chef and asked if he could make us a Indian meal on the Formal night and he agreed so tonight was the night and we were not disappointed. A lovely spicy hot chicken dish with popadoms and rice was served and it was really nice we were being treated so well and the guys were just great really treating us like royalty, the guys even got us all rounds of shots and stayed with us for drinks which ended up being a bit of a session we was told by Mauricio that we were the best clients he has ever met and loved our company. We had a fantastic night and when we got back to the room there were loads of freebies a chocolate version of the ship another bottle of champagne a couple of MSC beach bags and Macaroons OMG what a fantastic night and what a great team Mauricio has. Everyone has been so genuinely friendly and we are so very grateful to them all.
