Faro – LGW – Miami

So, yesterday we left Portugal at 7.30am and headed to Faro airport to catch a 10.05am flight to Gatwick as our flight to Miami is tomorrow at 10am so we needed a overnight stay, our flight was perfect and got in a bit early and we were able to check into the Premier Inn early also, we settled in, and had a lazy first day in the UK last night. This morning I had a early breakfast in the hotel Lorna wasn’t up for it, too early, we checked out and walked over to the terminal to check in for our Premium flight with Norse to Miami. The lady thst checked us is was proper missarable but we got through quickly as it was fairly quiet being November, we got to the terminal and waited to board.
So we were called into the plane on time, and it seemed empty especially in economy there were seats everywhere. We git slightly delayed because someone wanted to bring on a electric scooter and was causing issues because of the battery but eventually we closed the doors and pushed back about 20 minutes late, then we got the horrendous announcement that the flight was going to take 9 and a half hours, that’s got to ve one of the longest flight times from London to Miami anyway we settled down and watched a few movies and tried to get some sleep. We eventually landed at 3pm local time and proceeded to immigration. That was nice and easy and in no time our bags arrived and we met our driver to take us to our AirBnb some 25 mins away. The little 2 bed house is perfect for us and we got settled in and showered ready for our evening out. So just before 6pm we ordered a Uber to Chili’s which was 8 mins away. Early but we were really hungry.
