Day 10 Santa Vitoria

Well what can I say, room 201 was the best nights sleep ever, we are on the detached block away from the main hotel on the end with a disabled room next to us that was empty. In fact it was only by chance I woke up at 9.30am just in time to make breakfast for 10am.

Just like last time, there is always confusion when ordering food here I asked for toast and 2 fried soft eggs to come at the same time, “yes yes yes”, is what we hear, but really that means your get it the way it comes which was 2 eggs solid on a plate then 5 minutes later the toast on another plate. Seriously they had one job.

Anyway we needed to get back to the room to prepare for todays full day by the pool with Sarah and Cliff, so we got 4 sunbeds all setup and plonked ourselves down for the day. Cliff and Sarah we’re on there way and would arrive at about 12.30,  so we just sat and waited. Almost exactly at 12.30 they walked through the doors and sat down on the sunbeds, we immediately ordered drinks and caught up over the last 10 days, the place was very quiet well it was until we all got together, we stopped briefly to have some lunch inside where it was cool and had a great burger and Lorna even got her tuna baguette which this time was baked properly. The girls polished of a bottle of rose and we were back poolside for the remainder of the day, it was funny because me and Lorna had brought with us 2 aluminum bottle full of Bacardi and Dark rum so we were just ordering bottles of coke most of the day Sarah was enjoying Pina coladas for the best part, we had our own music pumping out we were not that bothered how loud it was because later at 6pm the DJ was coming and playing his tunes a lot louder than ours so we kept ours pumping until he arrived, it was the same guy that we saw the last time we were her, we had a mazing day the weather was perfect and we got a little drunk we even started to mess around in the sunset doing all sorts of Yoga moves needless to say we all looked stupid and considering we were on bottles of coke all day quite loud lol. We went back to our rooms to get ready at about 7pm said goodbye to the DJ and got showered, we all met up and headed to the restaurant we all had a really nice meal with drinks and afterward we played pool as mixed doubles, Cliffy and Lorna won and just like that we were heading off to bed, it was a great day and we are thinking of coming back in September on a Thursday to see the DJ again and do it all again. So tonight is our last night tomorrow we head back home which will only take a little over an hour, its been an amazing trip and served its purpose of getting us away from the Algarve in August.
