Day 9 Santa Vitoria

So we were awoken as per usual at around 7am with a barrage of noises from around the hotel. So we got up and went down for breakfast at around 8 ish had a light breakfast and then went back to the room to check out. We had 2 hours drive today but as we had a early night last night we were going to have a little look around Estremoz mainly the castle. So we packed up the car and drove to the car park just outside the castle and had a look around. 30 minutes later we were back on the road heading south towards our last hotel where we will be staying for 2 nights. The drive down was uneventful and we rolled up at reception at exactly 12 o’clock, we couldn’t check in but we didn’t mind so we went to the restaurant for some lunch but they don’t open until 1pm so we had a few drinks before hand. It looks like there may be about 20 guests staying tomorrow when our friends Cliff and Sarah arrive to celebrate Sarah’s birthday but right now it’s fairly quiet. We had lunch which actually was a bit of an ordeal as there was only 4 of us requiring food but it took nearly an hour to get our food. Anyway our room was still not ready and it was 2pm now so we hung around putting the pressure on Sara. Eventually she came over with our cases at about 2.30pm with our room keys so we quickly sorted out our room and got sat around the pool for the rest of the day. It was still very quiet and the weather was just perfect with a light warm wind. We stayed until around 7pm then went back to our room to get showered for dinner. Tonights meal was great really tasty the only criticism was cold plates. So after dinner we went back to the room as we weren’t drinking much today in preparation for tomorrow’s day. We watched a very weird film and went to sleep at around 11pm.
