Day 19

Got up this morning and had breakfast in the hotel and got ready for today’s activities. We checked in for another night so we could take it easy today and get some more photos of the canyon and see a bit more of it in sunlight. We went up to where we were planning on staying first of all, a hotel called El Tovar but the late check in time and high prices put us off but the views up there were great. There was also a very friendly squirrel who kept coming up to me We then drove further down the canyon for some more picy’s (I am sure you are getting bored with these by now but you really need to be here to appreciate the splendour of it all.) Then even we had seen enough rocks so we headed back to the hotel for a spot of lunch. Most of the afternoon was spent planning the next leg of the journey, as we still have 6 days before we need to be in Sundance, Park City for skiing, so not sure where we are going next.
