Day 25

Sorry it’s been a few days since the last entry only we didn’t have much to report back on Salt Lake City. We did a bit of shopping and ate in most nights but mainly chilled re charged the batteries and got ourselves ready for Sundance. So this morning we left at about 10am for the refreshing 1 hour journey to the ski resort of Sundance. We were not sure what to expect, but we had high hopes and when we arrived we were not disappointed. Far from it in fact. The resort is only small but fantastically maintained and the accommodation comprises of log cabins or lodges scattered around the resort all with great views. Our lodge could not have been better located it has great views and is away from the main buildings which is not a problem as you just call for a shuttle to take you to where ever you want to go, but we will probably walk or drive. The resort has 4 lifts and 46 runs all open and although not huge has perfectly prepared pistes with only a handful of skiers on them. Lorna did not want to ski today so we hired all the gear and got ready for tomorrow and the next 4 days. Lorna wanted to catch up on our washing and as our lodge has its own laundry facilities Lorna was in her element. Tonight we are booked into the posh restaurant in the resort and will no doubt get pissed and drag the decorum down a notch or 3.
