Day 4 Kefalonia

So today we dock in Kefalonia early at 7am and we were leaving at 2pm so all onboard by 1:30pm so after breakfast we got off board and had a little walk around, Bill was not coming with us today as he had been before and didnt fancy it, there was not much to see a few shops and a square so we had a little quick browse, we did manage to find a shop that was selling the Greek wine we had all been drinking onboard and consequently finished off so we were please we had a bottle to drink before we went out tonight. The weather was amazing really hot and after we got back to the ship we went up on deck for a bit of sun bathing but they were setting up the whole area for a lunchtime BBQ, the staff had created amazing dished and setup seating around the pool decks. We had a little time before it opened so we sat around in the hot tub chatting about the cruise so far. We got the call it had opened so sat down and each went up to help ourselves. It was a really nice spread and we were all stuffed afterwards. We stayed around for a while on deck but soon moved to the main bar which is outside as they were having a “beat the intro” quiz at 4:15pm, we sat at the bar and it was already really loud and there was a big guy who’s laugh was so annoying sat there and JJ was taking the piss out of him, it sounded like a Dolphin.
Anyway for some reason we split into two teams myself & JJ and Lorna and Brandon. it was 15 questions for the song title and the music was played by the ships band so not as easy as hearing the original but we did OK not enough to win me and JJ scored 13 and Lorna and Brandon scored 14 and they matched another team so there was a sound off but they missed out and came second.
We finished off and headed back to our rooms to get ready for tonight in the speciality Spanish restaurant, but we were going to drink the Greek wine first in our room so we all met there when we were ready to polish that off before heading down to the restaurant. The meal was nice not quite what we were expecting but it gave the guys a chance to try some food they had tried before. After dinner we heard about a show that was on, the ships band were playing songs and tried to encourage guests to dance but it was a bit weird as all those that didn’t dance were being watched like they were part of the show, so after a few songs we went up to the main indoor bar, it wasn’t long before some of the band came up there as well and setup and most of the guests were there also dancing again only now feeling a lot better, Bill and Brandon were up prancing around looking so funny especially Brandon waving his arms above his head, the ship was moving around a lot and poor Lorna was feeling a bit sick so she went to bed and we stayed up a bit longer but the band were not really playing very decent music mostly typical party songs like YMCA so I headed back to the room, I was swaying around a bit and when I got back to the room I had realised that Lorna had not brought here key tonight and borrowed mine so I had to wake her up to get in, she answered the door with one of the motion stickers on her neck feeling like shit so it wasn’t a great night for her, hopefully a better day tomorrow
