Day 7 Dubai

So we are back in Dubai but we actually stay here for one night as the cruise actually finished tomorrow, so today we decided to go on a hop on hop off bus trip around Dubai, it was really handy as Colm needed to meet a client in the Irish Village and the bus route included a stop very close to it so we went to get off and start to trip when Colm was flagged up at security as we were leaving, it meant we had to wait around a while in the terminal while the Dubai officials sorted out what ever it was that was wrong but eventually we were on our way, we had to get on a free shuttle to the start of the Bus trip which dropped us off at Dubai Mall, now the girls were going to have a look around for a bit but we decided that we should take the bus tour first as it dropped us off at another mall near the Irish Village, it was just as well as the tour took a long time but it was really interesting and the things we learnt shocked us as well and educated us on how the locals have to live. We got to the stop we needed to get off at and the girls went shopping me and Colm jumped in a taxi and went on to the Irish Village to meet his client, its a really cool place all built around a pub with a sound stage out side and it was really nice to have a proper pint of Guinness, We met with the couple who was meeting Colm and soon after this the girls turned up, so we stayed there had some food and few more drinks and then decided it was time to get back to the ship as we had a speciality restaurant booked for 8pm tonight and we needed to get ready. We were going to use the Bus to get back but it was now really quite cold so we jumped into a taxi and got back in time for a quick shower change and we were back out again. Our meal tonight was in the steak restaurant and it was really nice, probably one of the nicest meals all week. After our meal we walked over to the British Pub for a nightcap ands then off to bed, tomorrow we need to get our room keys renewed and we are also off to the Burj Al Arab for a lunchtime meal, Night night.
