Dec 5th. Day 10 (At Sea)

Today we going to be a full day at sea as we are now heading back towards Fort Lauderdale and its going to take us 2 days. So this morning a few of us went down to breakfast in the main restaurant and then we all decided that we were going to give the trivia quiz a go in the Ensemble Bar, before trying to find somewhere up on deck to settle for the rest of the day. Well we thought we were failing miserably at first but ended up with a respectable 9/15 still nowhere near enough to win but at least we were able to leave in not too much shame. We headed up on to deck 15 and it was very busy as to be expected, some of us wanted to sunbath others wanted the shade and getting 6 sun beds together was not going to happen so we split up and found our respective spots. At 12 we could hear all sorts of commotion going on around the pool and we realised that it was a paper plane contest, so we stood at the opposite end to watch, we noticed that Lynne & Ken who we met in Curacao the other day was giving it a go. Lynne actually did alright and was in the lead until she was beaten by a Greek guy but all good fun. It was a very hot and humid day today and not all of us were happy to sit around the pool all day so we kind of got split up. Tonight we were apparently going to 2 shows and eating in the main restaurant so we all got ready and met at around 6;30pm to meet in the Casino bar for a few pre show drinks. Tonights first show was a music presentation and I was not going to that so as usual I found myself propping up the bar for 45 minutes until they came back they said it was a great show not exactly what they were expecting but good. So now we were going to the main restaurant for the last time, we wanted to go today so we could show our appreciation to the table servers they also told us that tonight was a better meal choice than the last day so thats why we changed our Murano’s meal for the last day. We had a really nice meal most of us had the Beef Wellington or Duck and as usually we left there completely stuffed, it was now a quick dash back to the theatre to see a impressionist and comedian for 10pm. I have to say he was good but as usual most of the act was aimed to the US crowd so a lot of the voices were probably good but we didn’t know who they were. Still it was a good way to kill 45 minutes, after this everyone was feeling tired and decided to call it a night, Lorna was a bit disappointed because she wanted to go and get some photos done as we were all dressed up but it didn’t happen.
