Day 11 At Sea
We woke up quite early this morning and considering the clocks went forward last night we were surprised to be awake at 9am but it was just as well as today we are at sea and the sun is out and the wind is actually warm today so we needed to get up on deck 15 and find 4 sun loungers in a good spot for the day, we could not get through to Colm and Tams so we went up to patrol the deck, we were early enough to get a really good spot and secured 4 chairs. Lorna then went down to the restaurant to get a cup of tea for us both and some pastries for breakfast. About and hour later Colm and Tams turned up and we settled in for the day. We managed to get to about 2pm before it started to get a little cold as the winds were now cooler so we went back to the room and used our balconies to catch the rays as they are sheltered. We didn’t have that long as Lorna and myself are off to the Spa this afternoon for some facial treatments so at about 4pm we were in and showering for our 5pm appointment.
Its the first time I have had any Spa treatments and it was really nice, quite intense at times but really relaxing. We both went back to the room feeling very tired but we had to get ready for tonight which is a Elegant night so best attire for our meal in the main restaurant. We had a few drinks before as usual and got to the restaurant 15 minutes after our time slot which was fine we sat down and had an other average meal, the wine helped a lot. After this we headed back to the British Pub as Colm was going to sing a few songs tonight as Bob as we know him said it was Ok for him to sign a couple of songs. Its a shame the pub was not busier but I am sure those that were there enjoyed Colm’s songs. It wasn’t a late night but a a good few drinks were drank and I am sure a good nights sleep will be had by us all.
By the way if your interested all the video clips have been shot on this tiny Insta360 GO camera weighs 25 grams and shoots 1080p clips from 15,30,60 seconds long at a time. Very cool for quick grabs and very discrete.
